In 2019, Crime Stoppers programs across Australia received over 300,000 contacts via the 1800 333 000 phone number or its website, resulting in over 155,000 information reports being provided to police. The information directly led to 5,215 apprehensions and 18,686 charges being laid.
Crime Stoppers helps solve a crime every 14 minutes somewhere in the world, and in Australia Crime Stoppers is contacted every 100 seconds and assists in making 22 arrests on average every day.
